Taxes
Unclaimed Diamonds is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA . We are required by law to collect 6% sales tax from PA residents or for items delivered in PA as well as 2% for all residents of Philadelphia. PA sales tax does not apply for jewelry items shipped outside the state of PA. For items shipped out of state of PA, it is the purchaser's responsibility to abide by any state and/or municipality sales tax laws and/or rules.

-90 Day layaway starting on the order date
-Payments required every 2 weeks
-Inactive or cancelled layaways 3 weeks or more will be terminated and subject to a 20% restocking fee of initial purchase price
-Credit slips cannot be combined with any other discounts or sales incentives
-Trade-ins are final and non-transferable
-All exchanges must be received no later than two weeks from date of purchase. Items must be in their original condition with packaging and receipt.
-All sales and layaways are final - No cash refunds - store credit only - Valid for one year
-Acceptance of this bill binds you in agreement with the terms and conditions set forth
-Free sizing up to two (2) sizes valid only 30 days from receipt of merchandise
Guarantee
We hereby guarantee that the Diamond we sold you is genuine and is exactly, in every respect, as it is represented. We also guarantee that the material used in the manufacture of the jewelry Item(s) meets or even exceeds the requirements of the Federal Trade Commission. Furthermore, if the jewelry purchased from Unclaimed Diamonds is not appraised higher than your purchase price, we will refund you the money. In this case the evaluation must be performed by an Independent NAJA appraiser who is a G.I.A Graduate Gemologist not associated with any retail establishment and must be carried out for insurance purposes only.
Invisible And Micro Bead Set Jewelry
Invisible and Micro Bead Set Jewelry encompasses all jewelry items that have Diamonds or other Gemstones set together with no/minimal prongs, channels, or beads. Hence the setting is invisible. The Diamonds and/or Gemstones are held in place by tiny grooves that are precision-cut into the sides of the stones, whereby they snap into place very much like a piece in a jigsaw puzzle. Invisible and Micro Bead Set Jewelry affords the consumer excellent value for the dollar and is cost effective as well as giving off a look that far exceeds that of a single diamond. Invisible and Micro Bead Set Jewelry, while being excellent value, does require extra care and maintenance. Like all jewelry, it should be handled with care and stored properly when not being worn, as well as professionally cleaned and polished. While, in most cases Invisible and Micro Bead Set Jewelry will wear very well and provide the owner with a glamorous experience that only this type of setting can offer, it is more susceptible to wear and its stone(s) come off more often than in other types of settings. Therefore the purchaser has to assume an additional responsibility. While Unclaimed Diamonds cannot be responsible for Warranty issues that exceed a six-month period, we will continue to professionally clean and polish your Invisible and Micro Bead Set Jewelry for life. Any maintenance issues, i.e. stone replacement, will be provided to you at our cost. Additionally, for a nominal fee, it would be our pleasure to renew your warranty upon its expiration for another six months.
What Does This Warranty Cover?
This warranty covers any manufacture defects in that would cause a diamond or gemstone to fall out of its setting; in addition to any other defects which would cause the item(s) to be unwearable.
How Long Does The Coverage Last?
This warranty lasts for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase and is not transferable. The warranty can be renewed for a service charge.
What Will Unclaimed Diamonds Do?
Unclaimed Diamonds will replace any Diamond or Gemstone from a defective manufacture setting. We will fix or replace at our discretion any part or material that has a manufacture-defect that affects the wearability of the item.
What Does The Warranty Not Cover?
Unclaimed Diamonds will not replace Center diamonds or gemstones in Engagement rings or Wedding Sets, nor any other jewelry items with a mounted stone 10pts or greater, as these items should be insured by the purchaser. We will not cover any item that at our discretion has shown excessive wear or that has been mistreated or used in a manner not intended by the manufacture. We will not cover any repairs or alterations that were not performed by Unclaimed Diamonds or its representatives.
How do you get service?
In order to be eligible for the warranty you must bring in your purchase every two (2) months to be professionally inspected, cleaned, and polished. This inspection will be noted on your certificate. Failure to bring your item in as prescribed will void the warranty. Upon the expiration of warranty period, Unclaimed Diamonds will continue to inspect, clean, and polish your purchase for life; however, any other services or repairs will be charged to the customer. |
