Our Warranty and Insurance

Warranty

Invisible, Micro Bead, and Flower Top Set Jewelry encompasses all jewelry items that have Diamonds or other Gemstones which are set together with no/minimal prongs, channels, or beads. Hence the setting is invisible. 

The Diamonds and/or gemstones are held in place by tiny grooves that are precision cut into the sides of the stones, whereby they snap into place very much like a puzzle. Invisible, Micro Bead, and Flower Top Set Jewelry affords the consumer excellent value for the dollar and is cost effective as well as giving off a look that far exceeds that of a single diamond.

Invisible, Micro bead, and Flower Top Set Jewelry, while being an excellent value, does require extra car and maintenance. 

As with all jewelry, it should be handled with care and stored properly when not being worn as well as professionally cleaned and polished. 

While in most cases Invisible, Micro Bead, and Flower Top Set Jewelry will wear very well and provide the owner with a glamorous experience that only this type of setting can offer, it is more susceptible to wear and stone(s) coming out than other types of settings. 

Therefore, the purchaser has to assume an additional responsibility. While Unclaimed Diamonds cannot be responsible for any warranty issues that exceed the 12 twelve month period for in-store purchases and 90 days for phone or internet orders, we will provide and perform any maintenance issues i.e. stone replacement at our cost to you.

Limited Warranty For In-Store Purchases/Orders

All jewelry purchased at our store location is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for Twelve (12) months after date of purchase. 

In order to maintain the warranty, the jewelry must be inspected every Three (3) months by Unclaimed Diamonds. 

The warranty does not cover situations involving what appears to us in our sole discretion to be abnormal wear and tear or damage caused by the customer. 

The warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the item or component of, at the discretion of Unclaimed Diamonds.

Warranties shall be limited to this express limited warranty. Customer shall solely determine suitability of all items purchased or leased for intended use.  All items must be inspected by the Customer before leaving store. 

Customer assumes all risks and liability.     

Limited Warranty Internet/Phone Orders

All jewelry is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for 90 days after the date of purchase.

 This warranty does not cover situations involving what appears to us in our sole discretion to be abnormal wear and tear or damage caused by the customer.

The warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the item at the discretion of Unclaimed Diamonds.  

Any work performed by a jeweler other than Unclaimed Diamonds automatically voids the warranty. 

We offer complimentary cleaning and product check-up (recommended every six months) as a well-advised preemptive measure against the possibility of stone loss or damage that occurs when prongs are bent, pulled, caught, or broken during normal wear. 

We only ask that you cover the shipping and insurance to safely transport the ring to our facility.  And as a gesture of gratitude for choosing Unclaimed Diamonds, we’ll cover the shipping back to you.

How To Properly Prepare Your Return:

Call 1-877-855-2663 to begin processing your return. You must call the store and recieve a return authorization number…RA#. We will not execpt any repairs without prior authorization. 

  1. Obtaining an R.A. # does not automatically define approval of a repair.
  2. Please Note: RA #’s are set to expire seven (7) days after we send it . Any package shipped after that date will not be accepted and returned to sender.
  3. Pack item properly and secure.  Please make sure Unclaimed Diamonds is not written anywhere on the outside of the box! This is to keep the transfer of your package safe! Please do not indicate that there is jewelry inside the box anywhere. Please include all materials i.e. invoice etc. to ensure quick and efficient processing. Keep a record of your tracking number.

THIS WARRANTY IS NOT AN INSURANCE POLICY. It is the responsibility of the customer to maintain insurance against loss or damage not covered by the warranty

What Does The Warranty Not Cover?

Unclaimed Diamonds will not replace center pieces, a center diamond, or gemstones in engagement rings or wedding sets as well as any other jewelry items with a mounted stone(s) 10pts. or greater.   

These items should be insured by the purchaser (click here for more info on insuring your jewelry).  We will not cover any item, that in our sole our discretion, has shown excessive wear or that has been mistreated or used in a manner not intended by the manufacturer.

 We will not cover any repairs or alterations not performed by Unclaimed Diamonds or its representatives.  

Warranty covers diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals only and is not applicable to “Fashion Jewelry”. 

All watches are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty and is limited to the movement only.

Insurance

As much as we’d like to promise nothing will ever happen to your Unclaimed Diamond, sometimes bad things happen to good rings.  

Now, we’re not in the business of selling insurance, however, we strongly recommend Jewelers Mutual Insurance because they cover against all perils, offer no deductible plans, and over the years we’ve come to believe they’re simply the best jewelry insurance available.  

Plus, since we keep careful records, they work directly with us to make sure you receive the proper replacement.
